She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam McDuffie and Ida McDuffie; her husband Calvin Wright; her son Faibein Wright; and her brothers, Robert, Henry, Levi and Junior Scarborough.

She is survived by: her daughters, Tabitha Albert (Kenneth) and Asia Wright; and her siblings, Virginia Mitchell of Leland, Minnie Bracey (Herbet), Gloria Melton of Bishopville, Emma McLean (Neil), Lillie Wright of Patterson and Isaiah McDuffie (Charlotte). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
