He is survived by: his cousins, TJ Mickel, Janie Mickens, Willie Rob Jenkins, Sarah Mae Wilson and Dick Lee Corbett; his wife Patrica Lovely Byrd; his daughters, Dr. Naikia Byrd-Atkinson (Daryl Atkinson) and Crystal Harris; his stepchildren, Manzie Lovely and Felicia "Lisa" Moses; his grandchildren, Adalyn Atkinson, Brianna Marshall, Samir Toney, Jadin Toney, Reverend Teshawn Fulton, Takana Charles and Kimaya Davis Stoveall (Thomas); his brother Norman Benn; his siblings-in-law, Linda Byrd, Sheila Byrd, Jeanette Byrd, MonaRae Yasmein Ghafur and John Myers (Mary); and his sister Inez Anderson. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
