He is survived by: his wife Gayle Newsom; his daughters, Charlene King (Brian) of McBee and Jennifer Cottingham (Chad) of Lynchburg; and his grandchildren, Jessica Young, Lewis Young (Heidi), Jenna Cottingham, Cade Cottingham, Ansley King and Landon King.
