She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Edward Hudson and Alice Joyce Hudson; her former husband Carey Scarborough; her nephew Cole Hudson; and her mother-in-law Eugenia Scarborough.

She is survived by: her sons, Adam Privette (Shannon) of Hartsville, SC and Britton Privette of Bishopville, SC; her grandchildren, Cary Privette, Grey Privette, Hudson Privette and Charli Privette; and her siblings, Chuck Hudson (Susan) of Hartsville, SC and Mary Alice "Clyde" McGuirt of Bishopville, SC..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Elon Baptist Church, 1132 W. Lydia Hwy., Hartsville, SC 29550, or to a charity of one's choice.
