He is survived by: his wife Jean Auten Waters (Jeannie); his son Rob; his daughter-in-law Amanda Hollar Waters; and his granddaughter Madalyn Grace Waters of Greenville.

Memorials may be made to the Benevolent Fund at First Baptist Church in Camden.
