Kathy L. Portee Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2020, Kathy L. Portee of Bethune, South Carolina, born in Camden, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Portee Sr. and Helen Hampton Portee; and her brothers, Thomas Portee Jr. and Stanley Portee. She is survived by: her daughters, Brittani Smith (Jason) of Cassatt and Ladeena Oliver of Cassatt; her siblings, Dorothy Taylor, Martha Cassell, Bessie Reynolds, Gerena Brown, Marie McCormick, Clarence Hampton and Greg Portee; her grandchildren, Samya Smith, Anya Oliver, Ryleigh Smith, Caden Smith and Heavenly Oliver; her siblings, Michelle King, Barbara Carter, Charles Bennett and Michael Carter; and her close friend Kathleen Ransom.
