He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry G. King and Carrie Tiller King; his wife Margaret Jones King; and his siblings, Malcolm King, Mildred King Cooper and Lurie King.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly King, Carroll G. "Bubba" King, Jr. (Sonia) and Charles F. King; his grandchildren, Amber McCaskill (Will), Grayson King, Austin King (Jessica) and Addison King; and also Louberta Mumford.
