She was predeceased by: her parents, Liston Boykin and Ida Mae Rogers Boykin; and her siblings, Alvin, Billy Boykin and Paulette Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Edward Gardner; her sons, Steve Gardner (Tina) and Chuck Gardner (Lisa); and her siblings, Peggy Johnson (Lide), Joe Boykin (Welba Jean) and John Richard Boykin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harmony Baptist Church (1940 Bethune Rd, Bethune, SC 29009). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery (1940 Bethune Rd, Bethune, SC 29009).
