Alene Litchfield Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2024, at the age of 80, Alene Litchfield (Bethera, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Joye and Kathleen Proctor Joye; her daughters, Gail Fairbanks, Dale Litchfield and Karen Litchfield; and her husband James Ralph Litchfield.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Higgins (Jim) of Moncks Corner, Wanda Mitchum (Pete) of Gulf Shores, AL., Richard Litchfield (Peggy) of Ladson and Jamie Litchfield (Chrissy) of Punta Gorda, FL; and her brother Billy Joye of Johnsonville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Harristown Road Baptist Church, PO Box 1672, St. Stephen, SC 29479.
