He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen D. Jr. Lane and Don Elizabeth McLaurin Lane; and his brothers, Johnny Lane and Al Lane. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Lane; his son Stephen D. Lane, IV (Chasity H. Lane); his grandsons, Justin T. Lane (Elizabeth) and Dylan R. Lane; and his great grandchildren, Ellagrace Lane and Brantley Lane.
