He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Sol Taplits and Marie L. Taplits; and his brother Donald Taplits. He is survived by: his siblings, Bryan Taplits and Marcia Taplits Lowe; his siblings-in-law, Chuck Lowe and Donna Taplits; and also Cydney Paige Wayne.
