It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxie Taylor of Bennettsville, South Carolina, born in Mullins, South Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taylor and Bertha Mae Johnson Taylor; his brother James Taylor; and his grandson Hunter Chavis. He is survived by: his wife Donna Quick Taylor; his children, William "Steven" Taylor of Aiken, SC and Shannon Hood of Florence; his brother Ronald Taylor (Gloria) of Mullins; his uncle Billy Johnson (Andora) of Florence, SC; his grandchildren, Sophia Hood and Nick Polson; his close friends, Andy McBride, Eddie Gordon and Marvin Cooper; his nieces, Hope Crane and Ginny Smith; and his close friends, Kim Goldberg, Jamie Perkins and Donna.
Memorials may be made to the Christian Fellowship Church.
