She is survived by: her former husband Micajah "Mikey" Pickett Caskey, Jr.; her husband Peter "Pete" Michael Petros Sr.; her siblings, Richard Woodward Edens, Charles McCall Edens, Jr. and Neita B. Edens Inabinet; her children, Micajah "Skey" Pickett Caskey, III (Becky Caskey) of Columbia, SC, Mica Caskey Pruitt (Wayne Pruitt) of Surfside Beach, SC, Burke Caskey Daniel (Randy Daniel) of Conway, SC and Anastasia "Stasa" Petros of Banner Elk, NC; her grandchildren, Micajah "Micah" Pickett Caskey, IV (Kelsey), Erin Caskey White (Will), Guy Edens Caskey (Amy), Louis Wayne "Hap" Pruitt (Natalie), Micajah Caskey "Mikey" Pruitt (Kelly), Katey Mishoe (Adam), Megan Curtis (Mike), Mallory Daniel, Mollie Cason (Colton), Noah Daniel, Lillian McCall "Lily" Williams and Evelyn Claire "Eva" Williams; her great grandchildren, Ansley, Emmitt White, Boone Caskey, Ivan Pruitt, Fisher Pruitt, Mary, Caskey Mishoe, Mia, Madilyn Curtis and Tauran Whistler; and her stepchildren, Jean Petros Watson and Lisa Petros Clarkson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (1200 W Main St, Bennettsville, SC 29512).
Even in her last days here after a years-long battle with Alzheimer's disease, she still lifted up her alto voice in worship, singing her beloved Christian hymns.
