She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Hendrix and Edith Carpenter Hendrix; her husband Lewis Quick; her daughter Mickell Boan; her grandson Jamie Driggers; and her siblings, Joe Hendrix and Clara Priest.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Burks (David), Betty Driggers (Jimmy) and Derendia Freeman (Terry); her siblings, Ernest Hendrix, Betty Jean Davis and Marie Browder; her grandchildren, Waylon "WJ" Smith, Chris Burks (Hannah), Spencer Boan (Linda) and Brooke Moody (Gage); and her great grandchildren, Tucker Burks, Sophia Allison, Mary Hannah Burks, River Moody, Raylen Boan, Aiden Cortes and Isabella Cortes. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (1200 W Main St, Bennettsville, SC 29512). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Margaret's honor to Christian Fellowship Church 1615 Hwy 38 South Bennettsville, SC 29512.
