We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2023, at the age of 90, Lois Evelyn Hinson of Bennettsville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Howard Pope and Joann Pearce Pope Boykin; her husband James Bartley Hinson, Jr.; her daughter Lois Dianne Crosland; her great grandchild Danielle M. Pedone; and her sisters, Josie Gardner and Ellen Pope.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Hinson Bannister of Bennettsville; her sister Thelma Blue of Bennettsville; her grandchildren, Audra C. Pedone (Mike) of Florida, James A. Crosland, Jr. (Melissa) of Florence, SC, Throop H. Crosland (Amy) of Florence, SC and Bartley B. Gibson (Chas) of Bennettsville; her great grandchildren, Sophia P. Johnson, CJ Gibson, Julianna Pedone, Katlyn Crosland, Aubrey Crosland and Haylee Gibson; and her great great grandchildren, Charles Johnson and Irene Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Lois' honor to Bruton's Fork Baptist Church 1020 Bruton Fork Church Road Bennettsville, SC 29512.
