It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Ruth Stubbs (Bennettsville, South Carolina), born in Cheraw, South Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Hudson and Ila Blanche Webb Hudson; her spouse Bright Stubbs; her siblings, Marion Bernard Hudson, Julia Evelyn Hudson and Ila Blanche Hudson Adams; and her niece Dana Lynn Adams.
She is survived by: her son Bright Williamson Stubbs, Jr. (Liz); her grandchildren, James Todd Stubbs (Tracie) and Britne'Elizabeth Stubbs (Jess); her great grandchildren, Catherine Isabella Stubbs, Anna Weslin Stubbs, Emerie Kate Stubbs, Jada Elizabeth Vuicich Bryant, Collins Elizabeth-Marie Stubbs and Stella Bright-Kennedy Stubbs; her nieces, Pamela Pederson and Jane Slagle; her nephew Travis Graham Adams, Jr.; and her friends, Tim Brown, Frank Hinson, Andy Ingram, Johnny Mack Lane, Tommy Leslie and John McLaurin. She is also survived by great nieces, nephews and cousins.
