With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Gray (Bennettsville, South Carolina), born in Blenheim, South Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry H. Gray and Virginia Petty Gray of Blenheim; and his brothers, Marion Clifford Gray (Jake), Harry H. Gray Jr. (Buddy), James Robert Gray Bobby and John Terrell Gray Sr. (Terrell).
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Gray; his children, William Leon Gray Jr. "John" (Darlene) and Sharon Moore; his siblings, Ray Gray (Jean) of Bristow, SC, Bill Gray (Patty) of Bennettsville, SC and Frances Bryant of Darlington, SC; his grandchildren, Megan Hammonds (Caleb), Thegn Moore and Amanda Magayna (LaDonna) of Lexington, NC; his great grandchildren, Alayna, Ariana Hammonds, Zayden and Jamison Magayna; and his niece Sophia Eden Gray. He is also survived by family members and friends.
