He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Campbell and Rosa Lee Campbell of Bennettsville, SC.; his siblings, Joann, Shirley, Frank and Gregory Campbell; his in-laws, Helen Campbell, Billy McFadden, JoAnn Thompson and Jimmy McFadden; and also Minnie Joe McFadden.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Campbell of High Point, NC; his children, Rev. Melanie Douglas (William), Johnny Lee Campbell Jr. (Susan), Maria Campbell, Nakia Davis (Larry) and Renetta McDuffie (Keith); his siblings, William (Ann), Roosevelt Campbell of Brooklyn, NY, Michael, James, Calvin Campbell, Edgenora of Bennettsville, SC, Diane of Bennettsville, SC, Dorothy of Bennettsville, SC and Iris Campbell of Bennettsville, SC; his aunt Lucille Harrison; and his sisters-in-law, Sarah McFadden and Brenda Carmichael (Larry). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
