She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Cherish "B. C." Greene, Jr.; and her parents, Luther Thompson Gray and Beulah B. Gray. She is survived by: her children, David Cherish Greene (Vicki) of Farmington and Gloria Greene Avant (Joe) of Advance, NC; her grandsons, Adam Avant (Mariah) of Winston-Salem, NC and Jonathan Avant (Lindsey) of Winston-Salem, NC; her great grandchild Cayla Joy Avant; and her niece Brenda Shroeder.

“Dear All of “Miss” Jincys family. This is Pam Plummer. My family thought a lot of your family.. Knowing David and Gloria as kids to being friends with your parents when I became an adult. Picking blueberries was a special time each year getting to spend time with them and then taking them a homemade cobbler to say thanks. My Aunt Scottie and Mrs. Virginia Morrison had a long time friendship with your Mom. They all enjoyed going to Davis English store for goodies and conversation..”

“This is David and Donna English from the Carolina community. We always enjoyed Jincys visits to our store with Penny. All of us”old” women would make a fuss over the dog. Jincy would share the best stories of her family from Blenheim. And her delicious cakes were always a hit on Fridays when the community gathered at the store. She will always be remembered fondly. We would be there to honor her today except that my daughter in laws fathers funeral is today also. Love Always”
