We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2025, at the age of 78, Jerry McDonald of Bennettsville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard C. McDonald and Edith Walters McDonald; his daughters, Libby Joy McDonald, Becky McDonald and Nikki McDonald-Loflin; and his brother Bill McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Janet W. McDonald; his children, Scutter McDonald (Wendy) of Great Falls, SC, Brooklynn Hicks and Breana Craig; his brothers, Richard McDonald (Kathy) of Hartsville and Steve McDonald (Herron) of Winnsboro; and his grandchildren, Meredeth Hicks of Cayce, Michelle Hicks of New York, Emily McDonald of Cayce, Brent McDonald of Bennettsville, Edie Cadogan (Andy) of Charleston, Amber Caison of West Columbia, Mac McDonald (Chase) of Winnsboro and Alex McDonald of Great Falls. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
