We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2021, at the age of 77, James Ayers Sr. of Bennettsville, South Carolina, born in Kingstree, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burton and Annie O'Tuel Ayers; his wife Elizabeth P. Ayers; and his brother David Ayers. He is survived by: his children, James Edward Ayers, Jr. and Kim Neal (Clay); his siblings, Gerald Ayers (Linda) and Margaret Thompson (Jimmy); his sister-in-law Roberta Ayers; and his grandsons, Asa Neal and Ethan Neal.
