She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank McDowell and Amanda Godbold McDowell; her stepparent Beulah Richardson McDowell; her husband Parrish "Buck" McLean; her granddaughter Ashley Deets; her siblings, Manning McDowell, Neil McDowell, Lonnie McDowell, Agnes Nash, Ruby Gaddy, Betty Hunt and Naomi Strickland; and her son-in-law William Findlay.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Findlay, Richard "Rick" McLean (Sandra) of Candler, NC, Jayne McLean of Richmond, VA and Kathryn Jones; her brother Frank McDowell, Jr. (Jean) of Columbia, SC; and her grandchildren, Jessie Findlay, Lindsay Blackburn of Charleston, Teresa McLean of Greensboro, NC, Darrin McLean (Lacy) of Latta, Katie Tribble, Lance Tribble of Richmond, VA, Amanda, Kristina, Lee, Emily and Jenna Jones of Trenton.
