With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie Strickland Anderson of Bennettsville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Hawkins Strickland; and her husband Thomas Edward Anderson. She is survived by: her mother Christine Strickland; her sons, David Edward "Andy" Anderson (Whitney) of Florence and Christopher Scott Anderson (Meg) of Florence; her sisters, Judy Strickland Long (Watt) of Pinehurst, NC and Bonnie Stillwell (Roy) of McColl; her grandchildren, Nicholas Hatfield, Hawkins Anderson and Miller Anderson; her nephews, Doc Stillwell (Whitney) and Zachary Long; her niece Alexa Stillwell; her great-nephew Colt Stillwell; and her great-niece Paisley Stillwell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burroughs Funeral Home (688 Beauty Spot Rd E, Bennettsville, SC 29512). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery North Cook (219 N Cook St, Bennettsville, SC 29512).
