She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Odom and Nancy Wynn Odom; her husband Earl Herndon; her children, James Earl "Jimmy" Herndon and Beverly Auman; and her siblings, R. F. Odom, Teddy Odom, Lavonne Williams and Edna Lemmond.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jamie Herndon (Stacey) of Bennettsville, Libbie Whitley (William) of Cordova, NC, Jay Auman (Summer) of Summerville and Pam August (Michael) of Society Hill; her great grandchildren, Chandler Herndon, Jett Herndon, Trey Herndon, April Whitley, Michael Whitley, Sarah August and Michaela August; her great great grandchild Kameron Herndon; her grandchildren, Berkeley, Beckham and Bowdrey Jacobs; her son-in-law Ronnie Auman of Society Hill; and her niece Nancy Maultsby. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
