He was predeceased by: his parents, Broadus B. Bannister and Marie Kay Bannister; his son Danne S. Bannister; and his siblings, Frances Cassidy, Martha King, Harris Bannister and Jerry Bannister.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Smith Bannister; his brother Jimmy R. Bannister (Glenda); his children, Randall W. Bannister, Margaret B. Cleveland (Carlton) and C. Wesley Bannister; his grandchildren, Daniel Bannister (Eryn), Adam Cleveland (Brittany), Danae Langston (Jonathan), Tyler Bannister, Danielle Bannister, Camden Bannister and Ava Bannister; and his great grandchildren, Kinsley Bannister, Witten Cleveland, Jase Langston, London Cleveland and Bodie Langston.
