He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Thomas and Lydia Cleo Bannister Alewine; and his son Derrall Alewine. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Thomas Alewine (Tina) of Belton and Sandra Cheryl Alewine Jones (Frankie) of Belton; his grandchildren, Christopher Derrall Alewine, Heather Ann Alewine Pigman (Kenny), Brittany Jones Holden (Robert) and Trey Duell Alewine; and his sister Nannie Louise Alewine Evans. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
