She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Joseph Nisbet and Kathleen Patricia Robertson. She is survived by: her spouse Willie Dee McAbee; her children, John William McAbee of Belton and Mary Kathleen Black (Chad) of Belton; her stepfather Tip Robertson (Terri) of Sevierville, TN; her sisters, Heidi Whittington (Keith) of Little River and Becky Christian (Mark) of Carnesville, GA; her aunt Barbara Mass; and her grandchildren, John Boy McAbee, Hunter Black, Ellie McAbee, Ethan Black, Layla McAbee and Levi Black. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Bessie Road Baptist Church (575 Bessie Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Society of Greenville County, 113 Mills Ave., Greenville, SC 29605.
