It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney L. Patience of Belton, South Carolina, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Patience and Emmie Patience; his wife Elleen Smith Patience; and his siblings, Claudia Barbour and Travis Patience.
He is survived by: his daughter Melinda Patience of Charleston, SC; his daughter-in-law Krissy Hall of Greer, SC.; his grandchildren, Lewis Hall, Shannon Slagle of Greenville, SC, Tyler Hall and Cheyenne Hawkins of Greer, SC; his great grandchildren, Xavian, Brooklyn, Alina, Hadley, Haven and Braxton; his caregiver Connie Manley; his grandchildren, Sanchez Richardson, Nate, Des Richardson and Shanise Adams; and his great grandchildren, Jazmone, Camron, Ashia, Reni, Kylie, Malachi, Mackenzie, Liliana, Jayce, Graysen and Rhyland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the West Pelzer Baptist Church (29 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669).
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Patience asked for a tree or flowers to be planted in his memory.
