She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Mitchell and Annie Ruth Johnson Mitchell. She is survived by: her sons, William David Whitfield, Jr. (Alyson) of Belton and Randy Scott Whitfield of Belton; her sisters, Judy Arflin, Betty Hamby and Cathy Bannister (Mike); and her friend Rosita Kelly of Berlin, Germany.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Flowers are accepted and memorials may be made to Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.
