He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Byers Smith; his children, David Patterson (Breanna), Damon Patterson, Dylan Craig and Amie Ozanne (Lamar); his stepsiblings, Barry Smith (Vicki) and Tina Smith; his grandchildren, Logan Riddle, Brantley, Landon Ozanne, Will and Ella Patterson; his nieces, Tiffany Cason, Megan Smith and Maci Smith; his nephew Josh Ray; and his great-nephew Jase Bethea.
