He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Gambrell and Nora Gambrell; his wife Ella Mae Johnson Gambrell; and his son Danny Gambrell. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Helvie and Donna Hall; his brother Aaron Gambrell (Robbie Ann); and his grandchildren, Jason Hall, Crystal Stein (Michael), Andrea Hall (Matt) and Bryant Helvie (Hunter). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
