He is survived by: his children, Frances L. Dixon of Belton, S. C. and Suatavayus R. T. Dixon (Duke) of Alabama; and his sister Emma McClinton Thompson (Dollie) of Greenville, S. C.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephew, cousin, and friends.
