With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Ann Brooks of Belton, South Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Max Leroy Brooks; her parents, George "Deacon" Swinburne and Vergie Morton Swinburne; her sons, Robert Edwin Brooks (Valerie) of Belton, Jeffery Alan Brooks (Beth) of Honea Path, Daniel Lee Brooks (Michelle) of Williamston and Michael George Brooks (Lisa) of Honea Path; and her grandchildren, Alex Brooks, Svetlana Brooks, Martin Ford (Niya), Matthew Brooks (Kendall), Sidney Brooks, Avery Brooks, Benjamin Brooks and Carson Brooks.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials in Peggy's name be made to Pruitt Hospice, 1510 N Fant St. Anderson, SC 29621.
