He was predeceased by: his parent Koy Carr; and his siblings, Melvin Carr, Helen Carr Meeks and Weasy Carr Hall. He is survived by: his parent Ellawease Stone Carr; his daughter Beth Smith (Jim) of Honea Path; his granddaughters, Shannon Roark of Belton and Stephanie Smith of Honea Path; and his great grandchild Austin Roark of Belton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Maples Assisted Living or to Hospice of the Upstate.
