She is survived by: her grandchildren, Don Oates of Atlanta, GA, Kristin Chambers (Lyn), Chris Locklear of Anderson, SC and Sonya Garren of Anderson, SC; and her sister Blondell Carter of Dillon, SC.. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
