He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Annie McAlister Locke of Belton; his parents, Evelyn Burton Locke of Belton and Sidney Lanier Locke; his children, Michael Locke (Lori) of Iva and Amy Locke of Anderson; his stepchildren, Kenneth Brooks and Sandra Smith (Rob) of Mt; his sister Cheryl Hughes (Barry); his grandchildren, Sidney Locke, Brooks Smith, Drake Smith, Maxwell Locke, Lauren Smith and Lillie Locke; and his niece Kandice Hughes.
