With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Thacker Hill of Belton, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sanford and Ellen Louise Hughes Thacker; and her brother Roy Thacker. She is survived by: her husband Tommy "Richard" Hill; her sons, Rick Hill of Belton and Greg Thomas Hill (Debra) of Anderson; her sister Jeraldine Chambers of Atlanta, GA; and her grandchildren, Samatha Brewster (Jonathan), Justin Ellison, Amber Johnston (Nick), Emma Grace Hill, Mark Hill (Caroline) and Brian Hill (Hannah).
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 6105 Belton Hwy. Belton, SC 29627, or to Hospice of the Upstate, 1845 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
