With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Rice of Belton, South Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Manning and Ellie Mae Corbin Stevenson; her son Walter Keith Rice; her grandson Jacob Manning Moore; and her brothers, Mackey Ray and J. B. Stevenson.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce (Roy Hinton), Melinda (Danny Freeman), Tammy (Neil Wilson), Ann (Mitch Shaw), Christina (Craig Moore), Shaun Rice of Anderson, Earl Rice of Shelby, NC, Chris (Alisha Rice), Margaret Smith of Rutherfordton, NC, Cari (Jarvis Cothran), Amanda (Steve Oltz), Tara Rice of Greenville and Kevin Rice of Anderson; her sister Geraldine Getsinger of Greenville; and her friends, Betty Wilson and Addie Johnson. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and extended family that included many special nieces, nephews, and foster children.
