It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Evatt of Belton, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Elgin and Susan McGill Elgin; her son Paul Edward Evatt; and her great great grandchild Caroline Austyn Morgan. She is survived by: her children, David Evatt of Belton, Fred Evatt of Anderson, Jenny Stansell of Columbia and Susie Turbeville (Bill) of Piedmont; and her siblings, John Elgin (Carolyn) of Cody, WY, Fred Elgin (Katherine) of Penney Farms, FL and Frances Elgin Simmons of Gainesville, FL. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, or Haven of Rest.
