He was predeceased by: his father Joe Pressley Smith, Jr.; and his siblings, Wesley Alan Smith and Kimberly Dawn Queen. He is survived by: his children, Jacob R. Nix (April), Christopher Gibson and Crystal Sanders (Nathan); his sisters, Joey Denise Burroughs and Pamela Webb; and his grandchildren, Nicole, Olivia, Scarlett Nix, Nicholas Tankersley and Ava Sanders. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces.
