She was predeceased by: her husband John William Cole of Belton; and her parents, Clinton Vernon Atkin, Sr. and Vennie Jeanette Ellison. She is survived by: her sons, John Newton Cole (Kathy Lupo Cole) of Ladson, SC and James Vernon Cole (Leticia Dawn Cole) of Huntsville, AL; her siblings, Clinton Vernon Atkin, Jr. of Anderson, Albert Allen Atkin, Sr. of Anderson, Barbara Cooley of Honea Path and Cynthia Campbell of Iva; and her grandchildren, Amanda Cole, John William Cole, Amie Cole Doby, Suzanne Cole and Rebecca Cole. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
