He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Meeks and Sarah Stowe Meeks; his daughter Pamela "Pam" Kay Meeks; and his siblings, Floyd Earl Meeks and Sybil Meeks.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Martin Meeks; his sons, Matthew Brandan Meeks of Belton and Michael Osborne of Greenwood; his granddaughter Kyra Ryne Meeks of Honea Path; and his brothers, Joseph Donald Meeks of Atlanta, GA and Dr. Michael R. Meeks (Julia) of Simpsonville.
