She was predeceased by: her husband Harold L. Ricketts; and her parents, William Wesley and Nancy Gibby Turpin. She is survived by: her children, Steve Ricketts (Ruby) of Belton, Kenneth Ricketts of Belton, Mike Ricketts (Linda) of Anderson and Kathy Shuttleworth (Jeffrey) of Belton; and also Valerie "Vera". She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
