We bid farewell to Lawrence Groves of Belton, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 16, 2024 at the age of 89. Lawrence touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Groves and Martha Groves; his siblings, Neil, Gene and Brenda; his daughter Melissa (Dwayne); and his grandson Adam.
He is survived by: his wife Orga Groves; his children, Kathy (Garrett), Bonny, Carlotta (Randall), Terrence and Clarice (Jerry); his grandchildren, Lagenia, Sonya (Bernard), Kevin, John, Brandon, Kiara, Brianna, Cameron, Braydon and Josiah; his great grandchildren, De'Andrea and Kassidy; his great great grandchild Karter; and his siblings, Mary, Sue, Robert (Pauline) and Carlotta (James). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Unity Mortuary of Anderson (401 S Fant St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (837 Rice Cemetery Rd, Belton, SC 29627).
