With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laura Ann Kay (Belton, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laura Ann Kay to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband James B. Kay; her parents, C. D. "Dee" Erskine and Ruth Marchbanks Erskine; and her siblings, Rufus Erskine, Sara E. Wilson and Frances E. Stringer.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Downey (Chuck) of Lauren's, S. C.; her grandchildren, Erin Murphy (Mary) of Belton, S. C. and Charlie Horton Jr. of Greenville, S. C; her great grandchild Sofia Ann Murphy of Belton, S. C; and her sister Edith E. Gantt of Barnwell, S. C.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM.
