She was predeceased by: her parents, Sloan King and Lucille King; her significant other Bob Burriss; her son Gene Burriss; and her brothers, Al King of Belton and Jimmy King of Belton.
She is survived by: her grandson Dr. Michael Burriss (Margaret) of Spartanburg; her daughter-in-law Carol Burriss of Belton; her stepgrandchildren, Alex Bright and Hardt Bright; her siblings, Marie Whitfield (Wayne) of Anderson, Maxine West (Wes) of Anderson and Ronnie King of Piedmont; and her caregiver Sebrina Dawkins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
