He is survived by: his children, Monty Short (Vickie), Mike Short, Tim Short (Kathy), Destiny Rhoden (Robert) and Kristy Epps (Donnie); and his siblings, Robert Short, Madeleine Biggerstaff and Mary Mize. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
