He was predeceased by: his parents, B. Ray Jones and Grace Elgin Jones; and his siblings, Edith Jones and Larry Jones. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Ashley Jones; his son Scott Jones (Wendy) of Belton; his grandchildren, Luke, Logan, Lance and Lily Jones; and his sister Nellie Snider (Charlie) of Anderson.
