He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howard and Dorothy McDowell Howard; his son Geovoni Howard; and his siblings, Alma Jean Harris, Maria Hunter, Judy Faye Howard, Michael Howard and Jerry Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Malva Darline Paul Howard; his sons, Dimetries Howard of Anderson, SC, George Howard (Regina) of Anderson, SC and John Paul Howard of Greenville, SC; and his siblings, Johnnie Little of Anderson, SC, Jennifer Johnson of Belton, SC, Genese Copeland (Joe) of Belton, SC, Archie Dale Howard of Belton, SC and John Howard of Pendleton, SC.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
