He was predeceased by: his parents, George Roy and Dessie Keaton Bannister; and his brother Leon Bannister. He is survived by: his brother Dean Bannister (Wendell) of Belton; his sister-in-law Misako Bannister of Belton; his nieces, Dawn Cothran (Danny) of Belton, Lisa Shaw (Keith) of Belton and Debbie Whitworth (Bobby) of Anderson; his great-nieces, Kayla Hanks and Katelyn Moss; and his great-nephew Blake Shaw.
